Customer Reviews: Good shoe but a little expensive April 29, 2010 Travis Stratton Some people, mostly women, seem to not like the look of this shoe when I wear it. It looks ok to me and what it lacks in athsetics it makes up for in durability and ease of use. The boa technology tie rachet is really nice. I frankly dont know why shoe laces are still used. This shoe is a bit heavy and well insulated and I would recommend its use at less than 90F otherwise your feet may sweat. The whole shoe and especally the heel and bottom half are well made however the top appears as kind of a suade material that could be stained easily although Ive cleaned the shoe easy enough when stained. If you have extra wide feet stay clear of this shoe as it is a bit narrow but if your feet fit then you will enjoy the comfort. The shoe is noisey when walking or running on hard surfaces enough for people to notice so dont use them in quiet areas with hard floors. The reason for the noise is the hard plastic type sole which almost clicks like a tap dance shoe at times on concrete. A bit pricey too.
